Where is my data stored?
Data is stored using cloud hosting provider AWS (Amazon Web Services) in European Region - Frankfurt.
Who can access my personal data?
Only system administrator has direct access to production data. This access is strictly managed. For debugging of issues, development team can use only obfuscated (anonymised) data.
Is my personal data being shared with other 3rd parties?
No. WiseWallet doesn’t share any of your personal data with other 3rd parties. In case it will
Why do I need to go through authorisation process in order to use the app?
This is required so that we could keep the data stored on cloud (not locally) and retain it between app installations and across different devices.
Is my data backed up?
Yes. Back-up procedure happens every 24 hours during the night. So in case something would have happened with production data, the development team can easily restore the data from latest back-up. Additionally, back-up procedure takes place before every release to production.
Is my data encrypted?
Data and back-ups are encrypted by AWS Key Management Service (KMS). SSL/TLS is used for secure connection between mobile application and the server.
Are there any security certifications in place?
Yes. Development company has ISO 27001 & ISO 9001 certifications: ISO 9001 requires organisations to meet or exceed customer expectations with respect to quality; ISO 27001 ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of essential customer information.
What will happen to my data if I delete my account?
In order to comply with GDPR, we fully erase all the data about the user by their request.
What level of access does WiseWallet app have to my Mono account data?
WiseWallet is authorised by Mono to use their API in order to view the following data: User’s full name and Bank’s account statements (including individual entrepreneur account); With this level of access, WiseWallet can only read financial data, but not impact/change it.
